Astragalus polysaccharides (often abbreviated APS) are the carbohydrate fraction extracted from the root of Astragalus membranaceus, the legume used in traditional Chinese medicine as huang qi. Overview

Is this the same as TA-65?
No. TA-65 and cycloastragenol are different molecules from astragalus tied to telomerase. The polysaccharides are the immune-active sugar fraction.
Will it stop me getting sick?
It modulates immune function and has decent preclinical support, but it's not a guarantee against infection. Think of it as general immune support.
Should I avoid it with autoimmune issues?
